Two minute smokey eye...yes, it is possible!

For the yummy mummy's out there who just don't have the time to spend ages on make up, for those of you who prefer to have an extra 20 mins in bed or for those of you who are slightly intimidated by make up and just want a nice simple eye look that can be worn every day or jazzed up for a night out: 2 minute smokey eye - Apply your chosen colour all over the lid starting at the outer corner and blending in towards the inner corner. Blend it well until it looks seamless and smokey with no harsh lines. Do this on both eyes and then using the same eyeshadow line the lower lash line and upper lash line to give a smouldering smokey finish. This literally took me 2 minutes this morning as i was in a hurry! As its just for the day i did it fairly soft and subtle but for going out in the evening i would intensify the colour by adding more and then blending and use a liquid liner on the top lash line followed by lashings of mascara! This super quick look works well with greys/browns/plummy purples/dark green/navy blue colours etc) and it suits EVERYONE! I used Smut by MAC in my picture. Have fun and let me know if you give it a try x #makeup #mac #makeupartist #smokeyeye #smouldering #easymakeup

Oh my god i am SO excited by this post and had to share it with you guys! I have found some eyeshadows that are the same quality as MAC but bigger and nearly a third of the price! They are by the brand Inglot and have been recommended to me by loads of make up artists but i have just never purchased them before as i thought i could only get them online and wanted to be able to swatch the colours. But as i was walking through Grafton today lo and behold i came across the Inglot shop! I think it has been there a few months but i have not been to Grafton in Cambridge in yonks so have just never come across it before. I am amazed by the quality of these eyeshadows and the selection of colours is too exciting! At £4.50 an eyeshadow i would recommend these to everyone. They are beautiful and pigmented, the colour payoff is unreal and they are really long lasting and so easy to blend! I had to limit myself to 6 today but i will be back in a week or so for more! #inglot #makeupartist #makeup #eyeshadow #makeuppalette

Shopping Trip

So pleased with my new purchases! Spring has sprung, everyone is happy and i FINALLY bought the Jo Malone perfume that i have been wanting for about a year (Blackberry & Bay) - summer in a bottle right there! The most lush smell you can makes me so happy everytime i smell it, i just had to have it as i couldnt stop thinking about it!

The lipglosses from MAC i bought in the shades Cultured & Saint German - beautiful summer colours that go with everything and are seriously so long lasting!! I have had lunch, had drinks and its still on and that was a few hours ago! I like the fact that they are so sheer and glossy and feel really lightweight on, they are also not at all drying which i find can happen with lipstick.

From Lush i got a massage bar (ginger & lemon) and a body butter bar (banana and coconut). Omg..these smell so amazing and make your skin SO unbelievably soft. You warm them up in your hand and then rub the bar over your body - it is so nourishing and gives your skin a gorgeous sheen, perfect for summer (espech on the legs).

The Joni jeans from Topshop are my new fave - they are soooo comfy and stretchy and what i love most about them is that they are high waisted so you dont have to worry about a muffin top or a builders bum! (Hate that)

I couldnt resist the little messenger bag from Topshop as well - perfect for a night out if you dont want to carry around a clutch bag...

Thats all for now cherubs - hope you are having a lovely day enjoying the sunshine!

Lots of love and kisses x
